Religious Education
Religious Education is an important element in the broad and balanced curriculum we provide at Darley Churchtown CE Primary.
Through our RE curriculum we provide opportunities to develop children's knowledge and understanding of world religions and reflect on the challenging questions that it provokes. It aims to develop knowledge and understanding of positive attitudes towards; and sympathy with people and their belief.
What do we explicitly teach?
We use a combination of high quality curriculum resources including Understanding Christianity and the locally agreed Derbyshire Agreed Syllabus.
