Art work created by children from Darley Churchtown has been put on display at the University of Derby as part of a project run by our academy trust.
All the schools within the Derby Diocesan Academy Trust produced designs on the theme of 'mini masterpieces'. Each child had a post it note-sized piece of paper to fill and these were then combined to make an art work from each school.
At Darley Churchtown, we used collage to produce our own interpretation of Picasso's The Musicians.
On Monday, two children from Year 5 had the chance to visit the exhibition, see the pictures made by the other schools and talk to visitors about our project.
The artworks are on show this week and can be visited between 3 and 6pm each day at the university's Markeaton Street Campus.
