Keep up to date with all the latest news happening in school at the moment.
Class 3 have had an exciting week with a skateboarding session yesterday and Bikeability for the Year 6s.
The whole class took part in a skateboarding activity organised by the Rural Derbyshire School Sports Partnership yesterday. They learnt the basics of moving on the board then progressed to 'pancake flips' and turns.
Meanwhile the Year 6s have been taking their Bikeability training. All the children completed the Level 1 certificate on Tuesday and they are now moving out onto the local roads to work on Level 2.
It was lovely to see Darley Churchtown make the Derbyshire Times this weekend as they celebrated our children's wonderful Year 6 outcomes: our children surpassed national averages, with 100% of our children achieving the expected standard in every test, with 29% achieving greater depth in reading and 43% in maths. Wow!
